Information collected

Uru - Hydration Tracker does not use advertising, usage analytics, or tracking. Your hydration entries, goals, and preferences are not sent to the developer.

Data stored on your device

Uru stores the following data locally on your device:

Hydration entries, including the amount, unit, and date.
Daily hydration goal amounts for fluid ounces and milliliters.
Selected preferences: display units, quick-entry amounts for each unit, background color and gradient visibility, hydration ring visibility, and menu alignment.

Debug mode, gratitude section expansion, and App Store review prompt history also stay on each device and are not included in Uru’s CloudKit synchronization.

iCloud synchronization

When iCloud is available and enabled for Uru, hydration entries, daily goals, and the selected preferences listed above synchronize through Apple’s iCloud and CloudKit services across your devices signed in to the same Apple Account.

Synced data is stored in your private iCloud database, not a public database. The developer does not access, analyze, sell, or share this data. Uru does not offer sharing of hydration data with other users. Apple’s iCloud services are subject to Apple’s privacy policy.

Other Apps

Opening the Other Apps screen requests an app catalog from rlziii.com, then requests app information and artwork from Apple’s services. Selecting an app opens its product page using Apple’s StoreKit interface.

These requests do not include your hydration entries, goals, preferences, purchase history, contact information, or an app-generated user identifier. The catalog host and Apple may process normal HTTP connection information, such as your IP address, when serving these requests. Apple’s services are subject to Apple’s privacy policy linked above.
